THE INSIGHTS IN BPO: BEST TIMING FOR BEST TREATMENTIN MEDICAL AND SURGICAL INDICATIONS, made available on https://www.bpo-insights2021.eu and organized by Letscom E3 Srl, is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists.
Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Only those e-learning materials that are displayed on the UEMS EACCME website have formally been accredited.
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

BPO is a progressive disease in which different steps can be identified and various treatment schedule.
Although the treatment has been correctly performed but there is no return to normal behaviour. What are the factors leading this failure?
This course tries to answer this question providing insights in the treatment options for BPO, both medical and surgical, analysing the pathophysiological mechanisms of disease progress.
The aim of the course is to provide a basis for better judgement on the best timing for the best treatment in BPO. At the same time, the reasons why surgery sometimes may fail will be indagate.
There will also be a focus on innovative surgical techniques in treatment of BPH, which will be described through surgical videos. A careful analysis of the guidelines will make it possible to draw suggestions for implementing and improving the approach to this disease, without neglecting the patient’s satisfaction.
